To help achieve the Scottish Government's ambitious emissions reduction targets to tackle the climate emergency, we’ll soon have 1500MW of generating capacity on the national forests and land. 

We continue work to support new renewable energy generation and storage projects to reach construction.

Continuing this policy, we’re now looking to repower an operational windfarm at Cruach Mhor in Cowal, Argyll and Bute.
