Lowland raised bogs
Lowland raised bogs are one of the important habitats which have been identified for conservation action by the UK and Scottish Governments. Scotland's national forests and land host a significant area of lowland raised bog habitat and the Raised Bog Habitat Strategy (PDF 454KB) describes what Forestry and Land Scotland will do to conserve these habitats.
