Due to anti social behaviour this day and short stay facility will be closed to the public from Tuesday the 12 of August and until further notice. 

There are many campsites around the Lochaber area. We're asking the public to use local campsites and refrain from overnighting at FLS day and short stay locations such as Loch Linnhe.

A perfect picnic spot on your long drive to the West Highlands

This viewpoint on the A82 is a popular spot for a picnic by the loch. Exceptionally photogenic, Loch Linnhe provides a welcome breather from any long drive.

The nearest public toilets are at Corran Ferry, 2 miles to the south.

Car parking information - car park closed

The charges to park at Loch Linnhe are:

  • £1 for up to 1 hour
  • £3 for all day

Blue Badge holders park free. Please display your Blue Badge clearly.

Payment can be made using card or RingGo.

Annual parking passes are available for this site, visit our parking page for more information.
