There are many campsites around the Lochaber area. We're asking the public to use local campsites and refrain from overnighting at FLS day and short stay locations such as Loch Linnhe.

This viewpoint on the A82 is a popular spot for a picnic by the loch. Exceptionally photogenic, Loch Linnhe provides a welcome breather from any long drive.
The nearest public toilets are at Corran Ferry, 2 miles to the south.

Please park with care and consideration. In particular please park in designated parking areas only and do not block entrances or gates. Nearby car parks with free parking can be found in our Forest Search.
The car park is on the loch side of the A82, 2 miles north of Corran Ferry or 6 miles south of Fort William.
PH33 6SJ is the nearest postcode, about 1½ miles to the south.
