Caithness land management plan
The Caithness Land Management Plan (LMP) area is situated in the flow country in the far north-east of Scotland. Included in the plan are the forest blocks Braehour, Toftgun, Achairn, Rumster and several others, with a total area of 8,242ha. Caithness LMP was approved by Scottish Forestry on 28 February 2023 meaning the current plan will be active until 28 February 2033. In 2027 a mid-term review will be conducted to assess progress of the plan.
