The Kilpatrick Hills are on the doorstep of Glasgow. Head to the forests here and you will feel miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Expect spectacular viewpoints in every direction. On a clear day, you’ll experience panoramic views over Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.

It’s easy to get here by rail, road, bike or bus. The wildlife so close to the city might surprise you too – watch out for red deer, otters and osprey.
