Glenmore Forest Park
Glenmore Forest Park
Glenmore Forest Park lies at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. It’s a great place to see what makes the National Park so special. Here you’ll find centuries-old forests that have formed a green sea. There are high, rounded mountains, and lochs with sandy beaches which glitter in the sun. Rare wildflowers and birds thrive among the trees. Best of all, it’s easy to explore, with plenty of things to see and do whatever your mood.

You could relax on Loch Morlich beach, or hike into the hills from the Sugarbowl. From the community-owned Glenmore Visitor Centre, a trail leads through ancient forest to a beautiful lochan at the foot of dramatic scree slopes.
If you want some real action, Loch Morlich is great for canoeing, windsurfing or sailing. In winter, you could follow the surrounding trails on cross-country skis or try a snowshoe trek.
