The following notices are in effect at this location.

  1. Trail access updates

    • Mountain access routes update: Kilbo path is open, Corrie Fee Path is open, Dounalt Road is open (south side of upper White Water - this is an alternative for Jocks road, which remains closed).

    • The Capel Road Track is blocked with trees at OS Grid Ref: NO 2841 7717. This may be bypassed by walking along the forest boundary wall between NO 2834 7763 to NO 2872 7771. Conditions on this alternative route are steep, rocky and rough underfoot.

  2. Closures

    Glen Doll car park and the Corrie Fee Trail are open. All our other  waymarked trails remain closed due to storm damage. 

  3. Trail closed

    South Esk Trail is closed due to storm damage.

  4. Trail closed

    White Water Trail is closed due to storm damage.

  5. Trail closed

    Dounalt Trail is closed due to storm damage.

Ticks

Ticks can carry Lyme disease, which can lead to long-term illness. Check for ticks after your visit and remove them quickly.

Open water

There is open water at this site. Watch children closely, wear a life jacket if you go in the water, and do not drink alcohol near or in water.
