Crianlarich Community Woodland

A mix of old and new woodland with mountain views

Created in partnership with the local community, Crianlarich has three waymarked trails through a mix of young woodland and mature conifers with fine views to the surrounding Munros. It's the perfect place to stop and stretch your legs or walk the dog on the long journey to or from the West Highlands.

Inverardran Forest Trail

Walk through both new woodland and mature conifer forest with great views of Ben More and Cruach Ardrain. 

Firm gravel and grassy surface, with some uneven and potentially muddy sections. Some steep slopes. Includes some gates and a narrow section of boardwalk.

Crianlarich Village Trail

A short leg stretch, linking Crianlarich and Inverardran via a lovely area of rowan, alder and birch along the burn.

Uneven gravel and grassy surface, with some rocky and narrow sections. Some steep slopes. Includes a narrow bridge and section of boardwalk.
