Red Squirrel Appreciation Day falls on the 21 January this year and we're sharing some of our favour…
Blackstob Wood provides a 1.5 km non-waymarked path circling the wood. Additional trails cross through the middle.
There’s quick access into Findhorn, where the nearest public toilet facilities are along with shops and cafés.
Findhorn is also a good spot for seal watching as they haul out on the beach and shores of Culbin across the estuary. Please keep your distance and any dogs on a lead while seal watching to avoid disturbing them.
Roseisle Forest with its long sandy beach, forest walks, seasonal toilets and food truck is only a 6-minute drive away.
Situated just outside Kinloss you have quick and easy access into Findhorn where the nearest public toilet facilities are along with shops, cafés and restaurants.
Parking is free in this car park during the day.
Please note, overnight parking is not permitted unless part of our Stay the Night scheme – see below.
Our Stay the Night scheme now runs right through the year. This means self-contained motorhomes and campervans will be able to park overnight for one night in some of our car parks.
There is a £10 charge to Stay the Night at this car park. Payment can be made through RingGo with details of how to do this at each car park.
To help plan your stay, please see the details below:
Please visit our Stay the Night page for full details, participating locations, best practice, and terms and conditions of use.
